They also assess their patients\u201d level of autonomy in carrying out activities (work, hygiene, dressing, eating, etc.). If so, the occupational therapist will recommend adaptations to the vehicle if necessary. <\/div>\n    <\/li>\n        <li>\n      <a class=\"uk-accordion-title uk-text-bold\" href=\"#\">Aquatherapy<\/a>\n      <div class=\"uk-accordion-content\">This service determines whether a person is fit to drive a motorized vehicle. If so, the occupational therapist will recommend adaptations to the vehicle if necessary. <\/div>\n    <\/li>\n        <li>\n      <a class=\"uk-accordion-title uk-text-bold\" href=\"#\">Assessment of functional and work capacities<\/a>\n      <div class=\"uk-accordion-content\">The functional and work capacity evaluation is highly recommended for paying agents who wish to determine whether their client currently has the optimal functional and work capacity to return to pre-injury employment. This is the most comprehensive and accurate assessment available. A typical assessment includes a history of the injured worker, his or her occupational performance, the requirements of the pre-injury job, the worker&#8217;s current capabilities, the obstacles to returning to work, and an analysis of the assessment and its recommendations. The purpose of this assessment is generally to determine whether a functional skills development program can be initiated, or to identify possible alternatives.   <\/div>\n    <\/li>\n        <li>\n      <a class=\"uk-accordion-title uk-text-bold\" href=\"#\">Assessment of rehabilitation potential<\/a>\n      <div class=\"uk-accordion-content\">The Rehabilitation Potential Assessment is strongly recommended to the paying agent wishing to determine whether his or her client currently has sufficient capacity to begin a functional capacity development program. It is appreciated by some paying agents, as it can be carried out without a medical prescription, in the absence of a prescription for an assessment of the worker&#8217;s functional capabilities. This assessment is also recommended for all beneficiaries who were not actually employed at the time of their accident. The purpose of this assessment is generally to determine whether a functional abilities development program can be started, or to find out about possible alternatives.   \r\n\r\n<\/div>\n    <\/li>\n        <li>\n      <a class=\"uk-accordion-title uk-text-bold\" href=\"#\">Development of functional and working skills<\/a>\n      <div class=\"uk-accordion-content\">The PDCF (Programme de d\u00e9veloppement de capacit\u00e9s fonctionnelles (et de travail) or PDCFT) is a program offered to workers who have reached a therapeutic plateau in conventional treatments, but who have sufficient rehabilitation potential to start a more intensive program to improve their abilities, particularly their work capabilities. The professionals involved in the PDCF are determined according to the needs of the worker targeted during the assessment of his or her rehabilitation potential or the evaluation of his or her functional capacities prior to this program. Our multidisciplinary team includes an occupational therapist, physiotherapists, a psychologist and a physical rehabilitation therapist using a kinesiology approach. Some conventional treatments, such as acupuncture, osteopathy, massage therapy or chiropractic, can be pursued in conjunction with PDCF.   <\/div>\n    <\/li>\n        <li>\n      <a class=\"uk-accordion-title uk-text-bold\" href=\"#\">CNESST &amp; SAAQ<\/a>\n      <div class=\"uk-accordion-content\">Work accident (CNESST formerly CSST)\r\n<br> \r\nFollowing a work-related accident, you need to see a doctor. If your doctor refers you to occupational therapy, he or she will give you a prescription. All you have to do is contact us or come to one of our clinics with this prescription, and we&#8217;ll take care of the rest. Our customer service representative will take the necessary steps with the CNESST, and you&#8217;ll be able to start your treatment as soon as possible. The CNESST assumes the costs and pays the clinic directly for your care.    \r\n<br> \r\n\r\nRoad accident (SAAQ)\r\n<br> \r\nFollowing a road accident, you need to see a doctor.
